Legacy

Herman was a friendly and kind gentleman who proudly served his country with the US Navy during the Vietnam War. While being with the Navy, Herman and also Sylvia were able to enjoy traveling to many exotic destinations including Spain, Thailand and Hawaii. No matter where they were, Herman enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys to victory.

Family

Beloved husband of 48 years to Sylvia R. (nee Johnson); Devoted father of Barbara Dennis-Garcia (Juan) and Tracy; Adoring grandfather of Amanda, Samuel and Noemi, Loving brother to Yvonne Rockmore (Theodore), Christine Simpson (John) and Paul (Dolly); Dear brother-in-law to Carolyn Beach (James), Anne Allen (James), Joyce Palmore (Clifford), James Johnson and the late Charles Johnson (Carol); also survived by many loving extended family members.

Farewell Service

Funeral Services will be scheduled at a later date. In place of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund, 125 S. 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
